The Future Of Philadelphia Public Schools

Shocked to see a school with a for sale sign posted out front.
But in 2014 thats the all too familiar occurrence in Philadelphia.
What could have caused this to happen.
A failure to effectively teach the nations future, What?????
It's no secret that Schools with a high academic rating get the necessary monies to operate efficiently.
So why can't we teach our kids in the inner city.
I know for me growing up.
I chased money, which had an adverse effect on my education.
But after a lecture on immigrants coming to America with a fourth grade education and making millions.
I decided that's what I wanted for myself.
So how can test scores improve.
So the State doesn't feel like it would be funding a hemorrhaging institution.
That what it comes down to.
Knowledge is a bankable commodity.
But why is this nations future falling behind so many other countries?
Is it a lack of discipline or is it a lack of understanding.
About the importance of an education.
Maybe if learning can feasibly be translated into dollar signs early in the learning stages.
Maybe schools would not be in such turmoil.
